Looks like they (HighDefDigest) missed 'The Condemned' in their news article... out the same day as 'House of 1,000 Corpses'

WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!

I hope to see LG kick it into a higher gear this fall too. They've got some fun horrors I want to see on BD. House... is one. Frailty, Undead, and Cabin Fever are a few others I'd love to see hit the format.

Anchor Bay (Starz) hold the distribution rights to 'House'.

Default Bah

Personally I think House of 1,000 Corpses was one of the worst horror films I ever watched. Only movie I ever walked out on in the movies.

The Condemned looked like fun, though. Wish I coulda seen that one in the theater. Always wondered how cool they could make a movie Deathmatch. Or well, the trailer gave the impression of a video game style deathmatch anyways.

I thought Devil's Rejects was absolutely BRILLIANT so I picked up 1,000 corpses and was severly disappointed. I'm going to pretend it doesn't even exist.

Default night and day

house and rejects are really night in day not many people like both they prefer one over the other.

i liked house because it seemed more cartoony while devils was far more gritty and harsh.

I liked both too. But Devil's Rejects, while a little more disturbing, was near genius. Can't remember the tune, but the ending, the song that was used, it was perfect.

Default Hm

I was more under the impression that movies like Saw picked that up and made things like Hostel possible. A lot of Hostel if I remember right was even advertised as more disturbing than Saw.

I haven't seen Devil's Rejects as of yet, cause I hated House of 1000 corpses so badly that I considered Rob Zombie what most people consider Uwe Boll. :P Which has me slightly worried about what he'll do to Halloween(My second favorite franchise besides Romero's zombie films), but part of me really wants to give the Halloween remake a chance....>_>

Wow, a lot of those movies I'd forgotten all about. A lot of movies on that list I'd love to see on Blu-Ray
