I had a feeling there would be issues finding this in-store, so I ended up just ordering it with Amazon. It should be arriving this afternoon.

I totally forgot this came out today and so sad NO stores have it. Does anyone know if its a UV or iTunes copy for the Digital HD portion?

For those who have Apple TV, iTunes is selling the HD digital version for $9.99, with special features. It looks gorgeous and the price can't be beat.

I expect those who know nothing about this director and are only buying it because of the big names involved will be dumping this off faster than it took them to snatch it off the shelf... Used copies for $10 coming soon.

There are several Fox titles I've been meaning to get, including this one. Hopefully a FoxConnect 50% flash sale will be happening soon.

When I went to redeem my digital copy code on Fox's web site, the only options it gave were Flixster, Google Play, and Vudu....no iTunes like it says on the box.

Just emailed customer service.

I think you're right. The stars were exactly why I originally requested it for review, and the snapshot of the premise sounded interesting. Other than that, I knew nothing about the film or the director. While it's a very beautiful-looking film, it is way too artsy of a film for my taste, especially all those seemingly-random cutaways of different people. The sound quality on the release is amazing though.

Did you ever get a response on this? The only thing I got back was a generic give us all this information email (name, address, UPC, DC code, where you purchased, etc).

I called they said the iTunes part should be ready to redeem within a week (I called the day after it was released)

It was irrelevant. Everyone staying there was some big star/celebrity. Obviously he was a celebrity past his prime, as most of the people there were.
