National Treasure single disc release? - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys. I recently bought a used copy of National Treasure on BD here in Canada. It was only later that I recalled that this was a 2 disc release. The one I bought is 1 disc and there's no spot in the case for a second disc. I can't find any information online about a single disc release, can someone fill me in on what's up with my copy? It does say Collector's Edition on the cover. The back of the case doesn't indicate a second disc anywhere.

There's only a single disc version as far as I'm aware. The US release is just 1 disc.

That's interesting. I guess I'm mostly basing the 2 disc thing on Amazon.com's listing, but it also seemed that every google result had it down as 2 discs in the specs. I know that the sequel is one disc, so I found it a little odd that the original would be 2.

DVD shows as 2 disk but i dont see 2 disk for Blu Ray.

I see no where to which it states 2 disc. I have the original NT on Blu-ray and it's a 1 disc.

Amazon is hardly a reliable source for specs---I have yet to see a single BD listing on Amazon that mentions any of the high resolution audio formats, for example.

Martin Liebman's review and the blu-ray.com listing both spec a single-disc release.

I have the DVD and it is 2 disk so that must be an error through Amazon. I've searched and i can't find anything that says this was a 2 disk for Blu.
