Can anyone confirm that past seasons sold on Amazon UK have been region free? Was hoping to get a region free edition of season 5 but they recently updated that it is region B/2. Wanted that bonus disc.

In the UK Warner brothers handle the release it so its region free. All the past season have been as well. I don't know if HBO operate a different policy in the US but the releases over here follow warner policy.

This is my first time to pre-order. Does Amazon ship out earlier than the announced street date release?

For me they ship out early to get it on release day (Monday). I don't have Prime though, sure I've heard of people getting it on Sundays before.

I could see that this one has gone unavailable on Amazon UK. Will that affect the pre-orders in any way?

I can still see it up for pre-order. Are you looking at the bonus disc version? Likely that's the only version Amazon are offering right now.

If you've already got a pre-order in you'll be fine regardless.

Didn't have quite enough vouchers to get it completely free, but managed to pay just £7.00!!
