Thought something looked wrong about this placeholder art. Seems they've flipped Tyrion...how odd.

Anyway, this was a very weak season in my opinion. Some great stuff but too much filler. First 4-5 episodes are particularly disappointing. Picks up pace, though.

Really hope that's not the final cover, I always thought it was a very lazy poster.

Drogon is literally cut-and-pasted from a Season 4 scene.

I'm going to pre-order & then just forget about it, it's a long way off. I won't do any better than £30. I'm halfway through season four, & loving it, just have to stay away from spoilers. I know very bad thing will happen to characters I like, it's that kind of show, a bit like The Walking Dead.

yep, agree it was a disappointing season.
Still want it though!! Properly do a full series viewing leading up to the release of this/new show in April.
Not going to pre-order though - and hopefully have enough Tesco Vouchers by then saved to get it for free, as I did Season 4

I doubt that it matters to most, but do we know if this will have Dolby Atmos track?

I see HBO are re-releasing Season 1 - 4 with Dolby Atmos tracks so would be nice if this had it on too.

Is Dolby Atmos better than DTS-HD? I thought DTS-HD was uncompressed, so how could it be improved?

It's still uncompressed but it adds in even more speaker channels.

Dolby Atmos speaker layouts parallel the 5.1 and 7.1 setups for surround sound. A 5.1.2 or 7.1.2 system uses two ceiling speakers, or two Dolby Atmos enabled speakers or modules. A 5.1.4 or 7.1.4 system uses four ceiling speakers, or four Dolby Atmos enabled speakers or modules.

Agree with others, Weakest season of the lot. Final 3 episodes saved it. Think I'll hold off for now (Mind you I need 3 and 4 for my collection still :P)

Usually I'm not that fussed about the artwork, but I think the box set art is a lot nicer than the Season 5 artwork. I can always hope they decide to swap them.

Yeah that would be nice. Unfortunately I think season 5 will have that artwork as it's the 1 poster that has been used throughtout the year to market season 5.
