Are these listings from Amazon distribution, a reliable vendor, or some nobody with an Amazon Store?

For Mad Max, this is potentially very bad news, since the WB Blu-ray (somehow) prioritizes the godawful American dubbed audio track, as opposed to the original English audio. Unless this is a harbinger of MGM entering the UHD game (or of MGM licensing the film otherwise) and providing the films audio properly on a US edition, I am nervous.

(One movie I couldn't do that with is Terminator. The UHD could well end up looking amazing if the remastered BD is any indication, but without the original mono track I'm not going near it.) |

Imbd.com has very detailed camera specs for all 3 movies. They can sometimes be wrong about DIs, but camera lists for older movies are almost always spot on. All shot on film with film cameras. |

More so in relation to The Town. Mad Max shouldn't be an issue and we already know Argo is 4K. I just hate the idea of buying a UHD disc for a film where the source is a 2K DI. I know UHD Blu-ray is "more that just resolution" but I don't want my collection to just be full of upscales. And with Warners I'm just never sure. Though I'm wondering if that Mad Max disc is even gonna get release over here. I see WB has it for foreign territories but MGM still has it over here in the US. Not that I can't import if I choose to get it but just curious on that one. |

If it's rescanned for 4k the DI doesn't matter. That's the beauty of shooting on film instead of digital. Uhd discs are region free so you can always important if needed. |
