It was surprisingly good. The animation was very nice. Will pick up the 3D version.

The pre-order price for the 3-D combo just dropped to $22.50 on amazon. I don't think I've ever seen a drop this low on a pre-order for the 3-D Blu-ray while the film was still in theaters. Can it be that bad?

Not yet. Could be an Angry Birds plush, bonus material, or special packaging which could be anything from an alternate slip or a metalpak shaped like an Angry Bird.

So, the 3D/DVD/UV version has been cancelled. Amazon is upgrading existing pre-orders to the 4K/3D/2D/UV version and a credit will be issued for the price difference.

I just got that email. I didn't think this movie would be my first UHD!

Same here. I don't have a 4K player or TV, but I'll take a 4K disc if needed to get the 3D disc. And the price isn't bad either.
