Same here. I don't have a 4K player or TV, but I'll take a 4K disc if needed to get the 3D disc. And the price isn't bad either.

Yeah just saw the email. That's kind of presumptuous on Amazon's part. Not that I care as I will be keeping this order, but you would think Amazon would give you the option to approve the order update.

Yep! Just received an email, from Amazon, stating my order had the new 8/16 release date.

I don't think preorders for the 2D version were affected? Just the 3D preorders were changed to the 4K/3DBD/BD/dvd/DC version.
Although I see my existing preorder has not been linked to the new version. I'm wondering if Amazon will just cancel it and make me re-preorder?
