Ever been suspended? - Page 9 - Blu-ray Forum

Attack the post, not the poster.

I really try to follow that 'rule', though there are many around here who can't distinguish the difference between the two. I lost sight of that to some degree the other day, and was suspended, but I've seen 10X worse go undisciplined around here. Heck, I even saw a member call one of the most knowledgible and helpful Mods around here a 'Fanboy' the other day. It was really pathetic, and I expected the guy to be suspended.

Anyway, Mods can't be everywhere, and because of that it is up to the rest of us to report unacceptable behavior when we see it.

im convinced the more posts you have here, the more a small infraction can get you banned.

its ridiculous, i say the a-word in a long post and get in trouble and some other guy puts the d-word in the title of his thread and nothing happens.

just make up a new handle. for some reason this is one of the few forums i can access from work, so you can bet if i ever get banned stockstar1139 will be close behind.

but i totally agree. but it will be something totally unknown like, i can't be dpompeo2. it'd be too obvious. i wish i could transfer my trader rating tho.

well thats why you need to be building up back-up accts., right now.

1. You don't look like a total noob coming in.
2. Its not as obvious that its you.
3. Handy for suspensions.

of course being a total noob could be fun again. id love to come in and ask if when the matrix finally comes out if it will have black bars.

I think it had something to do with the Steelbook thread...he posted a few pics with a crapton of IronMan Steelbooks...maybe that was the final straw...
