Anyone having issues with loading the LXG Blu-Ray disc?
I have the Sony BDP-S300 and it takes quite a while for LXG to load into the S300.
Otherwise, the PQ is REALLY great and the DTS core sounds awesome!

Could be the BD-J loading up. I believe that disc is a BD-J title.

i play LXG on my playstation 3 and it takes a while to load so not to worry

its just the norm.

Picked up a copy with the new artwork in the $4.96 display at Walmart, but it doesn't have the 12 deleted scenes that were on the DVD release.

Guess I gotta make a combo pack.

Honestly, I felt that the deleted scenes were cut for good reason. I remember watching them when I had the DVD.

Damn this movie doesn't get much love at all. I've always been a big fan as I love steampunk and this is one of the few big budget movies that embraces those styles. Love the production design and fx and it's a great adventure.

I'm watching this right now. I've only just started it, but so far I'm unimpressed. The picture simply looks dull. It's a fairly dim lit movie, but still... the colors don't pop. It's very soft looking.

This is not to say the movie looks awful. Just a bit weak in the PQ department.

My Friday nights aren't what they used to be to say the least.

This movie was definitely sub-par btw. Not that anyone didn't already know that. I'm still going to listen to the commentary tracks though just to be a completest.

Well the disc is now 12 years old and it's bitrate is a paltry 16 Mbps. It definitely needs a new master and a higher bitrate.
