Default Why do Onkyo606 just show regular volume numbers?

I notice on other receivers you can get it to be like -35kb or whatever. How come on the onkyo 606 its just a regular volume number like your tv? Weird question but wondering if 606 can do this way too?

On my 805 ..Set-Up_Miscellaneous_Volume Set Up_Volume Display then you have an option of Relative or Absolute....You want Relative....Might be different on yours but give it a try.

what difference does it really make? lol

the numbers given in db are not accurate anyways, they are close but never 100%... and it's given as 0 being "reference" volume...

but anyways... do you stare at the receiver when watching a movie?
