I feel like I've been waiting too long for this announcement. Day 1 purchase for me. I just hope that it includes the unrated cut, but truthfully I'm in either way

But will this be the uncut version or the lame R rated cut they released on DVD? If it's the censored version, then I'll have to pass.

Aside from Chopping Mall, will definitely get ROTLD 3, Waxwork 1 & 2 & Bud The CHUD.

As excited as I am about ROTLD 3, how the hell are we getting Bud the CHUD before CHUD?

Obviously the priority should be the Unrated Cut, but it'd be cool if it included the R rated cut too, since that one uses alternate shots. Nothing major, but cool for completists.

Lionsgate doesn't own CHUD.

I was commenting more on the point that the format has been around for so long and we still haven't had a release of the original while we're getting a release of the much more obscure sequel. Happy to have it, but just a little confused that whoever has the rights to the original is still sitting on it.

Image has/had it. They haven't put out a retro horror title since 2012 though. Arrow US has since gained some of their catalog though (Vamp, The Stuff, Return of the Killer Tomatoes, etc.)

The original might someday see a release through Arrow. Image currently controls the rights but they seem to have a partnership with not just Arrow but also Kino. As much as we'd all like one film being better than the other to be the determining factor to what gets released, that's just not the issue. C.H.U.D. is fairly well liked among genre fans so it definitely has a a good chance of making it to BD.

Rented this on VHS forever ago and remember liking it. Will definitely get this for the movie and to support these releases.
