Are most of the new uhd blu ray movies that are coming out filmed in 4k? How do I know which ones are? I am asking cause I recently watched pan out a uhd disc and the pq was not much better than a 1080p Blu-ray . I looked it up online and it said that the movie pan was filmed in 2k which makes sense because of the picture quality. Thanks guys

This site offers a pretty good idea of what's natively filmed at or near 4k and what's upscaled: http://realorfake4k.com/
Just keep in mind that resolution is not the only benefit of the format, WCG and HDR also provide a sometimes substantial improvement to picture quality. |
