Smile GAMES in 3D

Now that we are getting movies in 3D (with glasses) is there any word about plans of releasing any 3D games.. I would love to see and play a 3D game even if it is a simple one..

3D would be cool, but what i really would like is some sort of holographic video game to come out , now that would be amazing

I know i know, we need the technology first but it will happen!!! I can only imagine......

I think, think they call that 4-d now. i could be wrong, but yes, that would be awesome to see but not sure how it could be done or how hard it would be to play when things seem like they are running around your living room ahhahaha.

3D Graphics is defferent from 3D presentation.. I think it is still called 3D presentation only like a 3D movie.. 4D would be something like a booty shaker under your sofa.. and additional realtime effects like dual shock on controller etc..

I know it would be amazing to have that kind of games... i am not sure how difficult it is to create the game and would it fit on a 50GB disk or not but would be lovely to have one..

Who wants to use glasses when the technology is available to let you see 3D without glasses?

The newer 3D stuff is pretty cool but it just sucks wearing those little cardboard glasses the whole time! I got the new 3D Polar Express movie on Blu-ray and some of the scenes have an awesome 3D effect to them, much better than I anticipated.

4d references time.. no booty shaker will add the dimension of time, for time to exist in a proper presentation *in my wildest hopes* things would need to age /change, in a almost real time setting, things would decay, dust would form, objects would all be marked to there own internal timelines..

The problem is visualling time is actually really really hard.

In photography 4d, can be produced by having a slow aperture time and you say toss a ball the balls motion from person a to person b will be actually marked into the film thus you would have a image that contains the full set of motion inside the image.

Its a nice effect of showing time, im not really sure how to define it in a media that is "Games" I mean where do you draw the line of 3d and 4d?

The fact that you can move you could justify that movement and animation leads to the existence of time, because without time nothing could move.

It is possible that without time, and thus a 3d existence, would we not be immortal?

Anyway that is my observation on the subject.

Hey guys, I have to totally agree about the cardboard glasses, they are annoying. There are a pretty good set of plastic Anaglyphic – Aviation-Style 3D glasses, but they only sell them in bulk orders. If I can get others 2 order them with me, we can get them cheaper! 10+ orders @ 5.00 a pair. I'd be interested in at least 4! PM me and we can set it up if your interested. Here is the link to their site....

im more interested in getting to the point where we no longer have to have one joystick to move, one to look. instead, the screen just follows the movement of your eyes. i remember reading about the technology behind it about a year ago, saying how it won't be too far away (i.e. maybe within 10 years).

still, i can't wait to play resistance 5 and use my eyes in order to look around

As 3-dimensional beings, we are only able to observe a "slice" of the fourth dimension at a time. The theory goes that every dimensional being is able to observe a sliver of the next dimension, which is why time is visually unfathomable to us.

A 4-dimensional being would be able to see the entire timeline, but it would be restricted to seeing that one timeline, while it would take a 5-dimensional being to see the entirety of the branching paths of that timeline, and so on, up to 10D, which is basically everything that could possibly exist.
