Get in! This is very exciting. I'm in the camp of hoping for a boxset instead of single releases. My blu-ray buying habits are draining my bank account as is, and adding another label (Powerhouse) to the pile is dangerous. I shouldn't be complaining really; we're getting more great releases here in the UK

21 there. Any more? I've emboldened the 14 I think (hope?) they have.
Devil-Ship Pirates and The Brigand of Kandahar are with StudioCanal in the UK.

Better compression and subs would alone would be enough for me to double-dip on the Mills Creek titles.
If they are the same masters supplied to Mill Creek, no matter how well they are encoded, they still aren't going to look all that great. I would keep expectations tempered.

Good spot. The possibilities are slowly being narrowed down.

Me too! I have the Sony R1 DVD's & they look damn good. A bit of TLC & not shoehorning two films onto a BD-25 should make them well worth the double-dip.

Great list from BarnDoor, but he uses US titles for a couple. As these are British films to be released in Britain, they'll almost certainly use the correct ones. So...

The Gorgon
Taste of Fear
Two Faces of Dr Jekyll
Revenge of Frankenstein
The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb
The Full Treatment
Never Take Sweets from a Stranger
The Maniac
Fanatic
Cash on Demand
The Damned
Yesterday's Enemy
Creatures the World Forgot
The Camp on Blood Island
Snorkel
The Pirates of Blood River
The Stranglers of Bombay
The Terror of the Tongs
Passport to China

My guesses...

Passport to China
The Pirates of Blood River
Snorkel
The Full Treatment
Never Take Sweets from a Stranger

(Hope I'm wrong about The Full Treatment, though)

A couple of people on another forum were talking about Never Take Sweets From A Stranger, suggesting it never even had a UK DVD release. Couldn't help looking into it, and after reading about it and watching the trailer I really hope it's one of the titles Powerhouse end up putting out.

This is certainly great news for Hammer horror fans. Powerhouse sure are putting the Sony vault to good use. It'll be interesting to see what they'll do for special features since the US discs are mostly bare bones.

It's one of Hammer's best films...speaking of which, from talking to the folks at Indicator on facebook 'Taste Of Fear' aka 'Scream Of Fear' is definately one of the 14. Good news for me as I think it is also one of the best Hammer films.

If Nick Wrigley worked on any of the Eureka Hammer discs clues may be found there.

Never Take Sweets from a Stranger gets a fair amount of attention these days, it's still underexposed but has a decent amount of fans. I was pretty stunned by it, the chase in the woods is the single most tense thing in any Hammer film. It and These are The Damned and Cash on Demand I think are pretty widely considered some of the best Hammer films now. It used to be people only ever talked about the frickin Dracula movies, some of which are really bad and only a few of which are even in the top 50% of Hammer film quality.

Cash on Demand is fantastic, very tight and claustrophobic.

Fear in the Night is my favorite non-monster Hammer movie.

Has there been a list published anywhere of the Hammer titles Indicator have the rights to? (Other than the ones in the first three box sets, of course)

The Damned
Scream Of Fear/Taste Of Fear
The Two Faces Of Dr. Jekyll
The Pirates Of Blood River
The Devil-Ship Pirates
Sword Of Sherwood Forest
Revenge Of Frankenstein
The Brigand Of Kandahar
Creatures The World Forgot

These are films I can think of that were distributed by Columbia Pictures. I'm sure there are others.

Does anyone know if Indicator definitely does or does not have the rights to any of the films listed here? Thanks in advance...

Thanks.

And I assume The Scarlet Blade is, as well? An old Region 2 DVD I have of it has SC's name on it, which is why I didn't list it.
