Kung Fu Panda released in USA on which day? - Blu-ray Forum

THis site is reporting Kung Fu Panda releases Nov 8th, in the USA? If so, why did we in Canada have it release today? Got mine today...holy $#IT, does it look AND sound sweeeeeeeet!!

It was sitting on the shelf today in FYE in Portland ME...priced at $30...so I left them sitting there.

It's supposed to be released in the USA on Sunday, November 9th.

I saw 'em a sitting behind the counter a couple of days ago at a local MovieStop store in Seekonk, MA.

I'm not big into animated movies, but it had been a while since I had as much fun as I had when I watched KFP in the theater. I'm also very particular when it comes to adding movies to my collection, and KFP is one that will receive that honor.

KFP was my fav summer movie....saw it in IMAX...was so much fun! worth any sort of $$$....go for it! It is the best DEMO disc I've got to show off HD

I went into blockbuster yesterday and they had this out to rent and buy on both dvd and blu-ray. I rented it on blu and it is a great movie! Jack Black is the man!! Im waiting until sunday to buy it at Bestbuy for 22.99 though.

BTW I noticed Bestbuy here is town has Superman:doomsday out already and according to this site it doesnt come out for another 3 weeks........weird huh?

Yeah I too went in to Blockbuster last night and they had it for sale on SD and Blu.

I noticed they had the blu priced at $21.99 so I snagged it, knowing it was actually a nice price!

When I went to the counter, it rang up at $29.99, and then referenced the sticker price and BAM! got it for $21.99 a few days early!

I've never seen it, but was gonna purchase it anyway on Sunday. I'll be heading home shortly and checking it out tonight!

I rented the Blu-ray Disc more than a week ago thanks to my job. It actually came out Friday here in Canada. The movie was average with two good scenes (none featuring the unfunny and gross main character). And as I've said elsewhere, the lack of the short sequel really shouldn't matter as it was a waste of time.

Anyway, I would never buy this but it is a very nice rental, even if you have to pay for it! And my CG film recommendation goes to Wall-e.

EDIT: And I think I meant to post this in the thread asking where the reviews are at. The disc has been available for long so it is truly odd.

Went to the mall today here in California and saw they had Kung Fu Panda for $29.99 at F.Y.E. Went to Best Buy and they said they will not release it until Saturday the 8th.

IT IS OFFICIALLY OUT ON THE 8th , Dreamworks moved up the date.

We got it in for $29.99.

My FYE had them yesterday too. I'm waiting for my Amazon copy, which shipped yesterday. I'm assuming it will show up Monday.
