As much as I love musicals, this is one of the few I really don't like.

I would so buy this. Filmed Broadway shows on Broadway; what's not to love? I plan on getting this.

They need to do more of these instead of remaking the musical for cinema. I have an old VHS of the original Sweeney Todd with Angela Landsbury somewhere that puts Tim Burton's to shame.

I saw this in Theatres and it was a pretty good presentation. It will definitely please rent-heads and Sony always does a good job with their product.

I love Broadway!! But both 2 that are available for home entertainment aren't in my top five... (cats and rent)

But i think i'll buy if PQ is decent

Funnily enough, I was the last poster. Watched this the other night and it looks awesome. Perfect for fans of the live show.

I felt like the audio was missing a little bass but I saw it in the theater too and don't remember the mix being too different. Great disc.

You'll dig the "Final Curtain Call" featurette, then.

Most of the original cast (maybe all, I can't be 100% sure) join the current cast onstage for the curtain call performance of "Seasons Of Love".
