Default Movies you can't decide whether you like or not

I know this sounds weird, but i know other people have to struggle with certain movies like i do. Right now it's "Boondock Saints" for me. While i was certainly entertained at points (hello Willem Dafoe), part of me says it's one of the worst movies i've ever seen. Problem is, i can't stop thinking about it.

The Incredible Hulk. I think I want to like it, it just feels like it's missing something...

I get what you're saying.

2 come to mind at the moment. Pan's Labyrinth and No Country For Old Men.

I hated Pan the first (and only) time I watched it and NCFOM pissed me off with the ending. The more I think about the movies though the more I want to re-watch them to see if I'll like them more now that the hype has flown completely away.

I'm going to have to go with There Will Be Blood.... I didn't get what all the hype was about, good story and DDL had some great parts, but man was it boring...

Speed Racer
There will be blood
No Country for old men
Clone Wars

Speed Racer and clone wars were rentals that are really just a flipflop for me, I liked parts but despised others.

TWBB, I watched that with my wife, she hated it, but I was on the fence about it. I'd have to re-rent it and watch it alone, she won't sit through it again.

NCFOM, this was a blind buy and maybe it was too hyped for me, only viewed it once and still am on the fence whether I should trade away the BR or not...

agreed, I was a bit like "wtf". the worst part of the movie was the score; horribly distracting, jarring, and annoying.

I'm on the fence about Pan's Labyrinth and all of Del Toro's spanish films. I think he tries to hard to push metaphors about Spain, the Spanish wars, etc. Or maybe I just can't relate to them?

I really enjoyed the Devil's Backbone. just the story revolving around the kids was good by itself

Your second impression was more accurate (worst movie you've ever seen).
IMO.
But then, I keep saying that in other threads and don't want to keep insulting those who do like it. That's why I didn't mention it this time

I absolutelly hate the movie Superbad, but I found the parts with the McLovin character to be amusing at times.

8mm is kind of like that. I'm not sure if I liked the movie or not.

Some other movies that I am not sure if I liked or not:

Both Tomb Raider movies - Jolie is hot and perfectly cast, but the movies are both sub-par.

MirrorMask - At times I really liked this, then at other times I felt like it was one of a million other coming of age stories.

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - Just can't decide whether I like or hate this.

OH, I got a good one - Van Helsing. That is totally the one movie that I can't decide if I like or not. I mean it's kind of cool. But then, it's pretty stupid too.
