Default Selling off all my old SD DVD's....best place to do so?

After buying a BR player and getting the Blu Ray experience for the first time, I knew there was no turning back. I must have every movie in Blu Ray or bust. Problem is, I have a pretty decent DVD collection (150+ movies) and I just dont want to junk them all. I'll be keeping the titles that arent available in Blu Ray yet, though. Does anyone know the best way to go about doing this? I want to get as much money as I can, but I'm definitely not expecting a windfall or anything.

I'm officially a Blu-Ray junkie.

Divide by genre into lots of 10-15 and sell on ebay or lots of 50. You could try selling the whole thing (entire lot) on kijiji/craigslist.

It's amazing how some of those ebay users pay more than the item is actually worth...and then the shipping.

Default I have turned mine in for Store Credit

I have turned the DVD's that I do not want into Hastings for store credit.

This is probably not the best way to get the most for your DVD, but you do get something and it is very convenient.

Newtown Video (Google it)

1 - they pay for shipping.
2 -they pay for insurance.
3 - decent prices for less mainstream stuff.
4 - payment via paypal or check (check arrives in about 2-3 days).

I've sold them about 500 dvds - all were accepted. Great way to get rid of your old dvds quickly.

my friend, you've just made me a very happy man. That Newtown Video site is awesome. I literally have two huge garbage bags filled to the brim with DVD's. Just to sample the site, I entered in four random flicks (The Punisher Extended Cut, Munich, Major League, and The Fountain) and I'm already at 7 bucks....which is not bad at all. Didnt even expect to get that much. Thank you.

sold a total of 30 DVD's for 50 bucks plus shipping. A lot of them were crap DVD's that I never thought anyone would buy even in the 2.99 bin at Wal-Mart.
