Default Question

I have a question. Do the people that decide which movies will gonna put on blu-ray use any certain kind of criteria? Will eventually all movies be put on blu-ray?

I can think of a few right of the top of my head I'd love to see in blu-ray...Meet the Parents/Fockers, Happy Gilmore, Anchorman, Big Daddy, Mr. Deeds, Along Came Polly. Is there any news on any of them?

Thanks.

Most of those movies are from Universal. Some of them have even been released on HD DVD. However, Universal is relatively new to the Blu-ray game. So just give it time and they'll all be released on Blu-ray.

Just like anything else, it's all a matter of investment and return. Studios do a lot of polling and such to try and track the general mood of the buying public. They then try to time releases for when they think the publics mood will generate significant sales.
