OK, you're suppose to get a free BR player when ordering a TH-46PZ800U like it's stated HERE but when I do this I get NO cashback at the checkout? WTF??

Tried it, and the same thing happens to me...the $300 discount is not applied. I suggest calling Amazon.

I just ordered a the Samsung TV from Amazon that was running a similar promotion (free blu-ray player) and everything worked...

I called them up and placed the order. They couldn't find the the promo but it will be taken care of.

dam, I called customer service and the guy from India wouldn't budge. Or maybe he didn't understand me...or I didn't understand him? either way...I went elsewhere.

Well they didn't set a date on that link which means that they have to give me the discount or else it would be false advertisement. My guy was pretty easy going. If you get one of the mentally challenged people on the line just call again. Harass 'em I say!

I ordered my new Panny plasma TH58PZ800U last week.

I added the player & the TV just like the offer says. When I checked out and committed to purchase the $300 discount didn't show up. So I called, and they said they'd look into it.

I didn't hear back, so I called again the next day since the player was already shipped to me at full price (no discount). When I complained that the offer promised the $300 discount the rep got her supervisor on the phone. So she agreed to take the $300 off the TV.

[I don't really need or want the player anyway. I'm selling it on eBay. After all's said and done I got the 58" plasma for ~$2400 delivered. Since it looks like my neighbor is going to buy my old SXRD, I ended up coming out really cheap on this nice upgrade.

If you want this discount, bug them about it!
