Default speaker wire help

Ok this is going to be my new setup just don't have it all quite yet. I wil be getting the Onkyo TX-sr805 reciever, very jacked about it to . And I'll proly be getting a polkaudio sub for it. And most likly be getting klipsch speakers for my C, L/R, and Suround. Now here's my delima, what Qauge speaker wire do I go with. 6, 10, 12, 16 what.

correct me if i am wrong but i believe 16 gauge will be more than sufficient unless your runs will be 100ft or more

well the sub will be less then 5 ft from the reciever, a=same wiht the center channel. Um L/R will most likly be no further then 10-20ft(total distance of running the speaker wire) and the rears will most likly be no further then around 20-40ft(again total ft speaker wire being ran) running along the ceiling that is

You know that you won't be using "speaker wire" to hook up your sub from the 805 right?

i suggest 14 guage wire, commonly used for most home theatres. Use the preout for the sub.
