Default Best Picture winners on blu-ray?

Just wondering if there is a link to all the Oscar-winning best pics available on blu. Couldn't find a similar thread.

When I saw the title, I thought this thread was about asking us each, which Movies on Blu had the best picture.

Since I began this post, let me just finish it: In my opinion the CG Animations are the ones with the best picture mainly the Pixars.

The Dark Knight won't win best picture...believe me. Great movie, not Academy Awards material for best picture.

Maybe in a fantasy land. Great film, but not Best Picture.

I think you might be surprised. At this point I'm expecting a nomination, if not a win.

Great flick...but I dont see that winning best picture at all.

I just see a whole lot of fuss made over Heath though. Deserved mind you..but I think the focus will be there.

I personally think that The Dark Knight will squeeze a "nomination" through SOMEwhere.

You might be surprised. So far, most, if not all, of the films that have been touted as major Oscar contenders prior to release have been disappointments both critically and commercially. This, combined with it's enormous commercial and critical success, has resulted in TDK getting more Oscar buzz than your typical summer blockbuster. If I had to guess right now what the five nominees would be, I'd pick:

The Dark Knight
Milk
Slumdog Millionaire
The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button
WALL·E

Does that guarantee a win? No. But I wouldn't say it's out of the question.

TDK won't win pest picture, but Ledger will win best supporting actor. TDK just is'nt the academy's type of movie. Would'nt be surprised if it does'nt even get nominated.

Ledger will not win best supporting actor. He may be nominated (as he should), but that is even a stretch.

Um I'm sorry but I would know as someone in the entertainment industry and someone who is a Film & Media Production major and as someone who has viewed the Academy Awards very closely for quite a few years now...
With great dramatic films coming out this year such as MILK, DOUBT, THE READER, SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, REVOLUTIONARY ROAD, and VALKYRIE, TDK does not have what it takes to compete with these films in the Academy awards...It is a great film in many levels, but it is not Oscars best picture material...It will probably get a best actor nom for Heath Ledger's performance (of that I believe he will not win) and maybe best editing and best original screenplay (which I know it will not win)...but it does not have what it takes to take the best picture award from this year.
It is also out of the question for best score as it has been already outed from that list for too many unnamed composers.
I might win all of those categories, but certainly not best picture.

I would not be surprised if Doubt takes the win because that play is fantastic

I have a feeling he will win because of extenuating circumstances. If you catch my drift. plus he deserves to win imo.

I don't know. If Valkyrie is any good then I am betting Tom Wilkinson will also get a nomination and considering how much better that film is to the Academy, he may just take home the Oscar b/c he is outstanding in my opinion
