Default American Mummy (Aztec Blood) blu ray

I found this movie at walmart on blu ray. I had never heard of it before. I have read some good reviews , but there isn't a lot of information available. Has anyone else checked it out?

It doesn't come out until next week, but Walmart got it early. There's a thread for it in the 3D section of the forums.

I'm not expecting much from a Wild Eye/Tom Cat releasing, who makes The Asylum look like Disney, but I suppose there must be something special about this that had to be filmed in 3D.

Interesting. Mine arrived just now with no slip and certainly no DVD. Not complaining though, just adding info. Purchased via Amazon.

confirm on no dvd or slip. Amazon purchase. Was worried about this release as the process showed it as being in limbo at Amazon for so long. Like when I ordered Love 3D from them. They kept moving date of release back, then ultimately never did ship it. And in the case, not even a spot for the dvd. Have not watched it yet, but it is 3D. gotta buy 'em while you can, and while they still make 'em. even if bad 3D. Bad 3D is better than no 3D.

I wish these movies had the balls to be super trashy. That's what makes so many b-movies of the old days classics, the trashy fun of them. B-movies today are just like A-list movies, only much more poorly written, acted, directed and enhanced.

Wow, so glad I put this back on the shelf the other day in WM. I could tell it's low budget and probably crap, but had no idea it could be worse than Asylum. Had no idea anything besides "The Item" could be worse than Asylum! Hopefully this gets on cable soon, I just can't resist even when I know it's probable shit.

That's funny because that's exactly what I was thinking in comparison to The Asylum. I took a chance because hey a 3D horror movie for $15. I never heard of the studio before so I watched the trailers first and they have to be putting out the worst movies ever committed to celluloid or whatever media the shoot on. I knew this movie would probably be terrible after seeing the trailers for their other films and I was not wrong.

The 3D is great and very strong. There was some 3d boobs and camel toe action but a good movie this is not. The sound is terrible. It's only in stereo and was not very loud. The cover makes it look like it's going to have some Mummy action like the Universal remakes but nope. There is a Mummy but it does absolutely nothing. The first half is completely boring and nothing really happens till the last 30-40 minutes then there are some cool gore effects. This has the most unbelievable scientist since Dr Christmas Jones. Terrible actors. I've wasted $15 in worst ways but I doubt if I'll even every watch this again. I tried to find a review before I purchased but I could not find one. I did find that this was supposed to be part one of a trilogy but I doubt if the other parts will be made.

With these super low budget studios putting nothing into the films, they will be made since there is nothing to lose. I think some make money from tax credits and shit so they don't even have to sell!

Will anyone bother to watch them is another story.

Love for your review. This film is all kinds of lame. I also think the 3D was just ok...so many blood squirts that were not really to camera (which would have been more fun). I don't regret this purchase, but I will never watch it again and probably sell it or give it away or throw it away.

I tried to return it to walmart, but since I had opened and watched it, they just exchanged it for a sealed copy. This blu ray is like a curse, I cant get rid of it lol.

Anyone willing to sell the slipcover? Just received confirmation that the slipcover was a Walmart Exclusive... My Amazon copy came naked and now I can no longer re-order from Walmart.

That's no shit. This has been the worst peace of shit movie I have ever seen. What an insult to intelligence. I wrote an honest point of view from Blu-ray.com. I gave fair warning not to buy or watch this crud unless the viewer was in for self punishment.

You are right. I would not want to sale it because I would fear that the buyer would want retribution.

I have decided to donate my copy to the local library or perhaps donate it to Goodwill. Someone that likes shitty 3D movies may buy it.

I tried really hard to watch it, but kept falling asleep every 5 minutes or so. After about a half hour of the shitty movie, I have had enough and hit the eject button. What a total pile of manure this movie is. Spent $15 on total waste of a crap.

I think you can watch it in on Kodi, but be forewarned, this will be the worst movie you ever saw in your life. Believe me, it will be like eating a pound of salt on one boiled egg. A movie experience that you could never forget; and so is this shit tasted movie. I am on my 3rd beer trying to forget what I just watched...
