It is saying I cant sign in with my email and password.

Have you tried making a new local 'User' on the PS3 and signing into PSN while using that?

no, just tried to sign in using my email and password.

What are you talking about? Does a local "user" use my profile, or starting a new one? If it can use my profile, how do I do it?

Users > Create New User

Login to new user. Login to PSN.
