Default Anyone else have problems unwrapping their new discs?

Call me crazy (or just impatient), but I can never seem to unwrap my new blu-ray movies without damaging the covers somehow. Does this happen to anyone else? Unless I use an exacto knife with the precision of a surgeon, I always seem to snag or slightly rip the plastic case cover.

Just thought I'd rant.

yeah, but only with Sony Blu-ray's. They seem to have the two extra security stickers and those two extras are where it is always impossible to get off cleanley.

Those dummies need to realize that thieves slice the edge of the case and slip the disc out. Putting tougher glue on the sticker doesn't stop anyone.

I've taken off more than 600 exteranal Blu-ray security stickers by now, most Blu-rays I buy have them. Most DVDs too. We even have previous threads about this here too. Security stickers are a plague

How odd, we don't have any of these problems in the UK, they come sealed in a plastic wrapping, which has one of those little gold strip things near the bottom that you pull on and it removes a strip of the plastic wrapping all the way round, so you're left with two separate bits of wrapping which then just slide off. No need for a knife and nothing stuck on the case inside the wrapping.

This is when I buy online, the only high street store I've bought from is Blockbuster, and they remove the outer wrapping then display the cases on their own and keep the discs behind the counter to insert when you buy.

That is what I've done. I've ordered 50 extra blu ray cases and everytime one of my cases gets damaged when opening, I just switch the case. I've gone through 10 cases already. I do try to open with a small k nife.

Not entirely true. I have ordered from Tesco and it comes with a sticker on top, bottom and side.
