Default BD-P1400 major problems with last 3 discs

Last three discs I've tried have stopped on me. Takes about 4-5 minutes to get back to where I was in the movie and then it happens again. I've gotten so frustrated. The last three movies were:

Stir of Echos
Swordfish
Deja Vu

So I called Samsung, she says are you using the latest firmware, and I said yes v1.2. She tells me that there are known problems with new movies such as Die Hard 4. So I explain that two of these have been out for a long time, that I just go them in from the 5 free offer. So she says she has a firware v1.3 that she is going to mail me.

Is anyone else having trouble? Almost everything was working fine for me, have watched about 30 movies on blu-ray and didn't have any trouble until lately. Should I be asking for a new player? I've had this unit for 2 months.

EDIT: Fogot to mention that I even tried going back to the old firmware, and it resulted in problems playing as well.

C.
