hi there
I have recently purchased a samsung hd tv and blu ray player, but i need to buy a sound system, can anyone recommend one to me, based in the UK many thanks

We'd be glad to help, but we need some info first.

1. What's your budget?
2. Will you be going with a 2.0, 2.1, 3.0, 3.1, etc speaker set-up?
3. Can you use Floor-standing speakers or must they be bookshelf or satellite speakers?
4. What size is your room?

If you can provide some details, I have no doubt you will get lots of suggestions and recommendations.

A great entry system is te Onkto 606 receiver and the Polk Audio 6750 speakers. This should run you around $700-800 USD.
