Default A Christmas Story

Well tis the season I was wondering how this looks in Blu Ray, whats the quality, it is my favorite Christmas movie, i am suprised I havent gotten it yet.
Any reviews??

This is a release that has always been unjustly criticized IMO. I think some people are just influenced by what they read and it spreads like wildfire.

I had read that the transfer was awful and the sound was terrible. Well I was pleasantly surprised when I found the transfer to be warm and yes even soft throughout looking somewhat dream-sequence like. But this is exactly how the film should look. The sound is modest in a way fitting to the movie. I'm not sure what else people expected or wanted. It's not a poor presentation.

I highly recommend it, and will be the first to say it IS better than the DVD.
