A Christmas Story - Blu-ray Forum

I've read that the pq and aq on this is pertty bad, but i have x-mas vacation and didnt think it was that bad as the reviews said in terms of pq, do any of you own this disc? Im thinking about getting it on amazon cuz I love this film to death, but is it worth it in terms of pq? do you think they will ever put out a better version like this x-mas?

I bought the Christmas Story blu-ray for cheaper than the DVD version and am pleased with the picture quality. I never saw the DVD picture, but it's better than over the air on TBS

Its decent, another WB quality encode

not sure its much more of an improvement over the DVD

i think there is gonna be another release coming out of it. saw that a while back but dont remember when

It was posted here not long ago that there is a "Special Edition" Blu-Ray coming in time for Christmas this year. No details though.

I just don't see the picture quality looking much better than the current BD. No matter how I've watched it, it's always looked like crap to me.
