Default If all studios released on both formats, which would you pick?

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=878703

Another pointless AVS poll, but your voices should be heard.

I still would choose Blu-Ray since it has technological advantages that HD-DVD is lacking, the biggest one of course is the size of their media (15GB & 30GB). The bigger the disc the better encodes and extra they can fit on a disc.

I'd stick with Blu-Ray, for the larger disc space, the uncompressed audio and the fact that the players actually work (unlike my HD-DVD player).

voted Blu Ray.
Why would people accept a lesser specc right at the beginning of a format when its most likly that those better specs will be more wellcome in the longterm and cause less restriction. I have a hard time settling for second best just because its cheaper.

HD DVD is comfortably ahead.

Amazing how skewed their readership is (yeah I know, no wonder...).

whatever

That place is infested with HD-DVD fanboys I wouldn't consider it a great place to have a poll about this subject. I am not a member over there and be because of all the bias they have towards HD-DVD.

Cool

HD-dvd fanboys sit around creating these polls because they're too embarrassed to to be noticed in a store buying hd-dvds

Full studio support.
The assumption of the price advantage.
The poll is on AVMS.

HD DVD still manages <60% support!
