i know its a limited release but it's not playing anywhere around my area, curious to hear some reviews about it.

btw i haven't been so excited to see a movie since i first saw the trailer for dark knight, idk why it just looks so good. hope rourke is up for an oscar!

Never heard of it. I'm waiting for Clint Eastwood's "Gran Turino" to get a nationwide release.

Nothing but positive reviews for this movie. I saw it in October at a film festival and have been wanting to see it again soooo bad. I will finally get that chance this weekend.

Waiting on both of those. Rourke does look like he gives an amazing performance and I've heard its his best but I think I missed its release near me

Gran Turino looks Bad @ss back to the old day of Clint

Thanks for the link. It does look pretty good. The yahoo trailer site had it as a Dec 17 release date. Wonder if any former real life pro wrestlers make appearances in it?

I don't believe so, but I read that Rourke trained with wrestlers from the Ring Of Honor promotion.

Are you sure this is out yet? I just saw Milk on Friday and The Wrestler was in the trailors before the movie, so i dont know if its out...

I've seen it and it's great. I'm both a big fan of Aronofsky's and Rourke's and this movie delivers everything you want it to. I highly recommend it, and can't wait to see it again!

I can't stand Micky Rourke but he has put in a couple of good performances, this is his best from what I hear.

As for Gran Torino.....can't wait. The commercial with Clint on the porch of his house pointing his fingers like a gun and shooting the gang bangers as they drive by the front of his house....good old Clint.

This is by far my most anticipated film of 2009. I was really hoping Vegas was part of the expanded release schedule next week, but no luck

I can't wait for January 26. I've been listening to the Springsteen song from the soundtrack, I absolutely love it.
