Anyone want to trade their PS3 UPC code?

So, I'm a dumb@$$.

I just found out that if you buy a PS3, you get 5 free movies via mail, but I toss'd my box.

I have my best buy reciept, which is dated July 2nd. as I wanted to play Rainbow Six: Vegas over the holiday break.

Now, I read know most of you all are much smarter then me and have kept your original box. I don't have a lot of room for boxes, and I'm just used to toss'in everything after I plug it in and it loads up.

Argh!! I'd love those 5 free movies.
But I need the original UPC code from the box. (This is NOT the serial number, which is unique to each unit), its just the UPC code which is the same bar code for all 60gig PS3 systems, no matter what store you bought it at.

The deal is for 5 free DVDs, which I'm eligble for if I can get a UPC code, This is actually my 2nd request for it. I got a reply from Merc, and he agreed to send it to me, but after looking for the box for a week, he can't find it.

SO, I'm re-requesting anyone out there if you have your old PS3 box, and don't care about cutting out the little square off that has the UPC and mailing it to me. I'd offer up some cash via paypal, OR, if you'd like, I can mail you one of the Blu-Ray Titles of your choice in the offer. Whichever you prefer.

LOL, he doesn't need the UPC number, he needs the actual barcoded UPC cut off from the box and mailed to him.

How about 2 blu rays for the UPC code That still leaves you with 3 free ones.

I can understand your problem with box storage, but it's never a good idea to toss the box and packing material until after the 30 day return privilege has expired.

I keep them and the receipts for a long time but then I am the kind of person who has all his bills filled for the last 3 years and paycheck and tax in chronological order since i have started working when I was 18. I am 27 and I never want to be caught out or not be able to prove my case if a tax problem or anything else should happen. (seen it done to others and its not pretty)
