Yeah he always stood out for me as Raiden. I think Mortal Kombat will be one of those films that wont make it to blu. Ever watched it on a bigger screen? Looks like VHS quality on the DVD lol.

Mortal Kombat games have been on a serious declined. MK Vs Dc wasnt bad. Maybe they can make better movies.

Honestly, I don't even consider MKvsDC an MK game...The franchise was meant to be an M rating. A MK game with no ripping of limbs or spewing blood is just wrong!

This is semi-off topic, but Ed Boon has stated that the next game in the franchise will be darker and be going back to the roots. Not much else has been said, but it has been officialized by Ed Boon. He stated the the look of Gears of War helped him invision the next Mortal Kombat to be darker and grittier. The game already has a head start since they are using concept art from what Mortal Kombat was going to be before they decided on MKvsDC.

Favorite fight scene from the first was the reptile scene, once i heard that voice say reptile I knew it was on. Hope they have him in the movie

Second fav was scorpion

Sub-zero fight was weak sauce

I got excited in the theater when I first saw the sub and scorpion walk out on the boat and he froze the gun.

Yeah I will agree the Sub-Zero fight was weak sauce.

Something that was corny in the first two films that I thought was cool was when a new character popped out they would use the "games voice" and say their name like in the VG. Lol it was pleasing to me.

Man that brings back memories of when I was a kid. Hopefully they do a pretty gory, serious martial arts movie with a pretty good cast. A new Mortal Kombat movie could be a huge hit if they do it right

Exactly. I'll be crossin my fingers for the next year and a half or so.

Also, if your on Live you should download MK3 Ultimate...It's awsome lol. You can play it against people on Live, too.

Well this is something to look forward to in the future I just hope some good casting is done for this movie.

I wish they could put Jason Lee Scott in as Liu Kang. But i think he maybe too old for the role

Yeah I think you're right, that he "looks" a bit too old. It's too bad that Robin Shou dipped out of the production. The damn traitor is acting in the Street Fighter movie, agh! The thing with Robin Shou is that he's even older than Jason Lee Scott, but looks younger. He said in an interview that maybe he's done with MK, but if he was asked he would play Lui again. That interview might have been before he signed on for Street Fighter.

I wish someone able to get a budget would pick up this movie and throw it the R rating to give it some justice with a good cast.

This is how the new film has to be to win back the franchise! This fight scene between SubZero and Scorpion with an R rating, good special effects, would really make MK what it could be. It doesnt have to be 100% realistic, just a badass fighting flick with the grittiness/darkness that the games have had.
