It says you'll only receive the credit if you have never purchased Amazon MP3s, but I have in the past, so I'm guessing this will go to everyone who spent $25 or more at Amazon. There are actually quite a few MP3 albums available to buy for $3 and most movie rentals are $3-$4 or less (you can play amazon movie rentals on your TV if you have TiVo or an Xbox 360), so I think this is a pretty good freebie

I get 90% of my music from amazonmp3. I wish they were giving this credit out to frequent users of the service.

I received a $5 credit and used it. They say there's no such things as a free lunch; that might be true (unless Ameriprise offers it), but free mp3's is nice.

i just use it to buy albums that are cheaper than $5.. free albums. nothing to complain about.
