Default Panny BD35 Issue

I have my new blu-ray player hooked to an Onkyo TX-SR674 via HDMI (accepts 1080 pass thru) and my sony KDL-52W4100 which accepts 1080p/24p. when I switch from blu-ray to watch DirecTV using my Logitech Harmony remote, the switch is a second or two. When I switch back to DVD, the blu-ray is playing but there is no signal from the player coming from the Panny. I have to hit stop and play or change chapters and it starts up again after a long pause. Has anyone had a similar experience? I searched before I posted this, so if it is a duplicate question I apologize.

You mean without the remotes? Or by not using the Harmony and using the remote for each unit?

I think the problem is that when I switch from DVD to Video 1 on the Onkyo, the Blue-Ray player stops it self. Then when I switch back it has to reboot the disc. I will try to program the remote to pause when switching and see if that works.

The TX-SR674 had a service bulletin out for it to replace a capacitor to fix a problem with 1080p pass thru with the PS3, I believe the BD35 will also work with the repair. I actually have a 674 sitting around in my closet and sent it in last week for the repair to use my PS3 with it, when it comes back I will test my BD35 on it as well to see if it corrects it.
And yes I did try the BD35 prior to sending it in and it does exactly what you are saying, and it's the same thing it does with the PS3, but it passed 1080p with my Sony S300 just fine. Search the AVS forums and there are huge amounts of info on this issue with some 1080p pass thru with the 674, the repair does fix it. It seems to only have an issue with passing 1080p when the source is HDMI 1.3 (the 674 is 1.1)
As long as you bought your 674 from an authorized dealer it has a factory 3 year warranty and the repair is free.

EDIT:
Here are the specific details on the service bulletin:

Service Bulletin #: 06011-R3
MODELS: TX-SR674 / TX-SR804 / DTR7.7
SUBJECT: Picture interruption in output of 1080P signal via HDMI.

Symptom:
Video output is often interrupted when 1080P signal outputs via HDMI because of authentication error.

Cause:
Monitor detects problem by mistake because of unstable pixel clock for HDMI output IC.

Procedure for Service:
1) Remove Capacitor C8428 on HDMI Board NAVD-8824
2) Change Resistor at R8524 from 33 ohm to 0 ohm on HDMI Board NAVD-8824
