Default Studios biased?

I get the feeling that some of the major studios say they support Blu-Ray but they are putting more of their marketable titles on HD-DVD. Wheres the Blu-ray love??? I just found out that the entire Original series of Star Trek is coming to HD-DVD and looking from all the other titles released like Warner Bros. Matrix Trilogy. Why don't they just release them both on the same format at the same time? Its like the studios are meddling with the consumers. Its not the people who chooses who wins the format war...Its the studio.

They want matrix to look better because HD- Dud cant handle what it should look like. I guess

It is true that some of the "neutral" studios lean to one side or the other. But don't let that fool you. They are still neutral and as I see it, they release the titles to HD-DVD now, but when they release them to Blu-ray, they will be higher quality.
Usually the studios tend to focus on doing the BD right rather than just throwing them out there like they do with HD.
I might be wrong to some extent, but only 3 major studios are neutral so I doubt that it will be a problem.

Alot of speculation on this my friend!
Some think that once profile 1.1 goes live, we will see more titles (WB)
Some thing that once BD+ goes live we will see more titles (FOX)

We have been seeing alot of release information just in this week though, which is a good sign!
As for my personal opinion, I'm anticipating a holiday rush on some of these much awaited titles. Others probably won't be released until the format war is decided. At this point though, it's anyone's guess!

Welcome to the forums!!!

I think a lot of studios are working on Blu-Ray titles for stuff they already have on HD-DVD, but they are just getting them out later because they didn't start on both formats at the same time. Except Universal, at least for now
