Default Hellboy II: The Golden Army

Not sure if anyone knows, but I just bought Hellboy II Blu-Ray in New Zealand, and the 2nd disc is a regular DVD.

Thought this info might be handy if anyone thinks about importing, as the 2nd disc will be PAL, and is locked to region 2,4 and 5.

I prefer the first one, but you're right, they're both great.

+1. Loved these movies and the tones of both. Kind of liked how everyone got some backstory in the second one.

Loved them both, but prefer the second.

I just wish the second one would have made more money as it might have guaranteed a trilogy.

Hellboy II definitely feels more solid out of the two for me. I like the first one, although I typically go for number 2 far more often. Better story, cooler villian, more fantasy elements and humor, Johann Krauss...

Please let there be a Hellboy III.

I will not invest in Hellboy II until I know the situation on Hellboy III. Hellboy II is incomplete until Hellboy III and that would be a shame because Hellboy II is pretty fantastic.

Then the only missing out is you. Why deprive yourself for something that isn't likely.

It works out to about $12 shipped to the US for anyone wondering:

Great deal for Canadians, so-so for the US.

Watched this for the second time tonight. The story ain't the best but I seriously think this might be my favorite visual experience in a film in the last decade or so. Just amazing to look at, wish other directors took note.

It's just too bad Hellboy 3 looks like it'll never materialize.

I really enjoyed both movies. Both excellent transfers and I agree the second movie visually is stunning.
