For those with Yamaha receivers as well, a recent update also included Dolby Vision + HRG in some select models: http://www.avsforum.com/forum/90-rec...l#post55310346

That's good to know. I need to update my receiver soon, and I will be going back to Onkyo. I have not been really happy/impressed with my Sony.

I had an Onkyo 507 for about 8 years. No issues, just want to go 4K and Atmos. Hope you like it!!

I missed the part of this being available only via USB, and for the life of me, I can't figure out how to do it (I used to do it all the time with my PS3). So I guess I'll wait for it to be available via wifi.

Oh, I thought my 656 was already Dolby Vison capable...

Either way, good to know. My receiver will get the update, my TV is due for the Dolby Vision update... once those happen, I'll be upgrading my 4k player... always chasing the latest... sigh.

Now I'll have to wait and see if HDR10+ is going to be upgradeable by firmware, or if I already have obsolete equipment again.
