Can some1 recommend a Surround sound for my ps3. - Blu-ray Forum

I'm in the market for a Surround sound system for my PS3. Can someone recommend a system for me. My spending limit is $1000. i keep on hearing about trueHD audio? i have a PS3 60gig and an LG 47" 1080p full HD. if that helps.

Onkyo 606 for AVR and for the speakers its really up to you since you will be the one listening to them, but Polk and Klipsch are popular.

+1 for the 606, great bang for the buck. And as he said the speaker choice is up to you as you are the one listening to them. I am polk man myself, but there are other great brands. If it were me, and I am kind of polk biased

I would look for their monitor lines. They were replaced with a new line this year and can be had for good prices.
