I was expecting Dune to be with Shout, but Wild at Heart?

Huh. That's odd.

I'm not a fan of the film but I love that cover.

So, are we expecting other announcements too by Shout select?
or they usually announce titles individually?

HECK YEAH. Hoping for some really great extras.

I will be holding onto my Twilight Time release for the time being.

Poor Lost Highway just can't catch a break.

I was expecting Wild at Heart to be a Kino announcement because they released the DVD edition while Twilight Time had the Blu-ray rights.

Dune in a Shout Select edition would be awesome. I hope you're right.

I was expecting Criterion to release all of Lynch's films on Blu-ray with the exception of Dune, so this is a surprise. Just please do it right. I wonder if Lynch will be involved or not?

Looks to be the US theatrical cut judging by the R rating.

I'll be in for this but why are BD companies avoiding Lost Highway like the plague in the U.S.?

Like JohnCarpenterFan mentioned above, I think we're hoping Criterion releases it at some point (and the sooner, the better ).

If I can get around $60 for the Twilight Time, I will take the chance.

If it's sourced from the same ancient HD master as the TT release, count me out. But if it's from a new 2K or 4K, I'll consider it.

Any chance Arrow will release this in the UK?

I think that the US rights to Lost Highway have reverted to Lynch and Criterion most likely has licensed it.

If they don't do a new transfer on this, it's pretty much a complete waste of an opportunity. I'm real surprised Criterion didn't nab this one since they've been releasing other Lynch films within the last few years.

I think Shout! have an uphill battle with this one. It's always seemed like a big seller in Europe (as most of Lynch's films are) and it's destined to get a Special Edition from somebody there. Hopefully, Shout! have a new scan of the Unrated version, and new extras to boot. I would kill to get Nicholas Cage to talk about the film, but he's probably asking a ton for an interview. At least they will probably be able to get Laura Dern and Willem Dafoe.

In fact, I wonder if this might be a title where they are sharing resources, like To Live and Die in L.A.?

Woohoo! Been waiting on this for a long time. Hope Elephant Man, Straight Story, Inland Empire, and Lost Highway come out this year too, so I can finally beef up the Lynch section on my blu shelf a bit.
