Default ShawnE94SL's Home (condo) Theater

I just posted a few pics of the living room. Nothing fancy. One day I'll own a home and have a dedicated HT room. This will do for now though.

UPDATE: I purchased a set of NHT VT2's from some guy on Craigslist. It was a great price and when I got there he gave me a NHT VS2 center also because it had a blown tweeter and he just wanted to get rid of it. He also game me a set of MIT Terminator 3 speakers cables. All for $475.00 The guy was super nice and really hooked me up. S
I've attached some new pics.

04/08/09-UPDATE: I painted the walls and added some crown molding.

I like it, but that Arowana is impressive.

Thank you!

That Arowana is the topic of conversation when ever anyone enters my home. He's about 21" right now. A little too big for the tank, which is only 90g. He's healthy though.

I use to have 2 Arowana's in a 325 gallon tank and they were awsome used to feed them live mice. Now I have my tank set up as a saltwater reef.

That's a huge tank. You should post some pics of your tank. I know a lot of people on this board also share that hobby.

I looked at a house a while back and it had an enclosed back patio with a 1800 gal. koi pond. All I could think of was it would make a cool arowana pond. I might have been sold if it had a good sized room for a theater.

Yeah I have been meaning to put some pics up of my tiny system and a few of my tanks. Which is why I never have any money to upgrade my speakers or move out of my parents because I am always buying new fish or coral lol

if it was a lagoon tank then it wouldnt of worked Arowana are jumpers so you would come home and they all would be pretty much on the floor next to the pond drying up lol

It's been some years for me since I had a tank and when I got it, I was an agressive tank with alot of agressive fish.

Then I seen the little Arowana's with the little bags hanging from them and ask the sales person, "What are those"?

I bought 2 of them for a couple bucks(can't remember the amount, but wasn't that much)

When they were older I use to put my hand in the tank and they would swim in between my finger's. I don't mean I would go after them, I mean I would stick my hand in the water and they would swim to it and then go between my fingers.

I told the owner of a fish store I use to goto and he came by to check them out and he offered $1200 for one of them. That was back in the late '80 and early '90.

Geeeez, just thinking about them is making me want to start that hobby again.

I know what you mean. They are great fish to have. I've been in it for about 15 years now and this fish is my favorite. I've had 4 or 5 Arowanas in the past. 2 of them died; 1 jumped out of the tank and the other was eaten by my Red Tail Cat Fish.....I couldn't believe it when I saw this.....a 16" silver arowans being swallowed by my Red Tail......that was another fun fish.

Anway, this Arowana I've had for about 6 years now. I bought him when he still had his egg sack and now he's about 21-22".

I received my Ideal-Lume light from Cinemaquest yesterday. I installed the light last night. It does help at night when my living room is dark. I played some COD4 last night with out my eyes hurting at all. I'll post some pics later tonight of what it looks like.

Anyone know how to take a good screen shot picture?
