Question how can i make this work?

i have a laptop with a blu-ray player and if i try to connect it to my tv using an hdmi connection and play a movie it gives me an error message, i think the problem is that when its playing on both devices the disc thinks im trying to pirate it, and ideas of what i can do to get it to work. thanks

You cannot display a Blu-ray on two(or more) screens at a time.
One or the other.
Select TV Only and it should work fine.

What is the "hot key" on a VAIO or other laptop with BD players to trigger the switch between external HDMI-HDTV and the internal LCD display? I know one can go into the NVIDIA card controls and monkey with the setting, but isn't there a faster F-key way to toggle between one and the other?

On my VAIOs, it's Fn + F7.
