Hi All,
I'm thinking of upgrading from my 67" Sammy DLP. I figured LCD would be a worthy upgrade, except so far I only found 65" Sharp aquos, around 5.5K, which I liked and Sony which is around 20K, clearly out of my budget. Any other options I should consider, look into? And is plasma worth researching? |

I've seen a Laservue, the picture is great...it still doesn't look better than a Kuro. Not to mention it has a 7,000 dollar price tag. Hell if you look around enough you'll find a 60" Kuro for less than 5 grand.

So you want to have your colors of your TV absolutely wrong just to have a little extra detail? Call me crazy but I want my colors to be spot on I can live without extra detail. Now granted Laservue had crazy detail but I hate to see something I know is one color and it comes out another.

But how would you know for sure the exact color of the suit if you haven't look at it physically and compared it to the image on the two TVs. Who knows which color is correct, maybe the kuro's or maybe the laservue's.

You're right, some people like their Iron Man Orange and Gold, and some like their Iron Man RED and Gold. *Throws up the peace sign and leaves*

The Elite has more controls over picture (color temp, gamma, etc), which could yield a more accurate picture if calibrated properly. It also comes with a 2 years warrantly. Personally, not enough of a difference to warrant a 2G premium.
