What Pioneer Receiver??? - Blu-ray Forum

Hey Guy's,

I have been testing receiver's the past 3 week's, and I have fell in love with the pioneer elite models. So my question is what model of the pioneer elite series would be comparable to the Onkyo 805 and if anyone knows of a website to order from?

Your options would be the VSX-01, VSX-03, or the VSX-92 or 94. I have the 03, and I could not be more satisfied, having owned a Marantz and listened/tested Onkyo, Sony, Denon, and Yamaha (comparable price points). The 94 has all the bells and whistles, the 01 and 03 are practically the same (minus a few aesthetic choices - the 03 looks gorgeous, the 01 looks plain - and a few extra gimmicks)...the 92 and 91 are solid as well, but I'd go with the 03, 92, or 94.

Just go to a Best Buy.

thanks alot about to go test out the 03 during lunch and maybe pick it up
