A Pioneer receiver for the ps3 ??? - Blu-ray Forum

i'm looking for any pioneer receiver that will play my ps3 blu-ray on dts-hd and true-hd. any pioneer receiver other that 1018 that i will hear the dts-hd and truehd sound..... thanks guys in advance... i just want to expericence the dtshd truehd. and the reason i want a pioneer because i already have good pioneer speakers...

why dont you want to purchase the new 1018?
whats wrong with it if you havent even seen it in action?

you don't need to buy the 1018. Thre's a new $299 model that will accept just the PCM in. Since you can't use bitstreaming with PS3, it doesn't make sense to buy the more expensive

why settle for something so cheap like $299? purchase something that will be future proof like the elite 92 or the new up coming 1018.

what is that $299 model? Does it accept 7.1 PCM, 1080p 60/24hz, and does it have transcoding to HDMI? Those are basically the only features that I want/need......atleast that I can think of right now.

You have almost all of those features now with your DG910..
