Dexter season 3, release date - Blu-ray Forum

Does anybody know when they are going to release season 3 of Dexter on blu or dvd? Also if it will be available on blue?

The first season came out on blu on the 6th. I'm not sure when the second and third will though.

I haven't seen Seasons 2 or 3 because I'm holding out for the BD releases - I'm darkly dreaming Dexter 2 & 3 will be released soon!

My guess is that Season 3 will be released on DVD and BD sometime in August while Season 2 will come out on BD between then and now.

The wife and i could not wait about bought season 2 on standard dvd a couple month's ago.

I was sooo damn tempted to do that, I'm surprised I've been able to hold out (season one left me wanting to see more). If I had Showtime (I don't), I'd watch 'em all On Demand...

yeah i think this will most likely be the case. season 3 will definitely come out in august or the end of summer right before season 4. the only other option i could see would be to just release season 2 and 3 at the same time right before season 4.

This show is sooo good! I can't wait for season 3 to be released, as I don't have Showtime.

Hopefully this season is as good, if not better than the last two seasons. Day 1 pickup for sure!

I love this show. It's funny how the US are already gonna get Season 3 on Blu whilst France is stuck with Season 2 only being released in June on DVD... mad world.

Hey did anyone watch Six Feet Under? I've started watching and it's really cool. It has the same vibe as Dexter, less action but same funny moments.

Downloaded the entire season in 720p via torrent. Yeah its that good. It is SO good!!

i just fall Six Feet Under 2yr ago and that lead me to Dexter,

First off, just to avoid any mistake; I think all 3 seasons kick a**!! When that is said, I have to admit that season 2 is the weakest of the three. And once again; this does NOT mean that season 2 is bad. It's awesome!

My point is that season 3 just blew me away! The first season will always be my favourite season, but season 3 just had it all.

And with the amazing cliffhanger at the end of season 3 I hope season 4 is right around the corner.

yes!! I've been holding off for so long. I saw two episodes recently and I can tell i'm going to like this show. I hope season 2 and season 3 are released closely so I can buy all 3 seasons and watch them all.

Great news. I was worried about sales for Dex S1 on blu-ray and it possibly affecting the release of season 2 (assumed 3 would by day and date with s3). Give credit to Showtime/Paramount for getting both of these out. My guess is season 3 will come out in august in time for a september season 4. I hope I'm wrong and Season 4 starts in June.

As far as Six feet under - I disagree. I saw 4-5 episodes of the first season and was underwhelmed and basically gave up on it. Nowhere near as entertaining as Dexter IMO. I liked Sopranos, but that's a completely different show.

Season 3 was SICK! Best season so far! I actually ordered showtime just to watch Dexter. It looked great on Showtime HD. It'll be even better on blu! I can't wait for season 4

Funny you mention this because I thought the way Season 3 ended was somewhat FLAT. When I watched both seasons 1 and 2 I couldn't wait to see what happened next at the end of each episode (especially the finales!). But I too can't wait for Season 4. Its amazing how they were able to take a serial killer and make him the hero and have all of the viewers emotionally behind him. GREAT WRITING and ACTING by EVERYONE involved!
