Dexter season 3, release date

My point is that season 3 just blew me away! The first season will always be my favourite season, but season 3 just had it all.

And with the amazing cliffhanger at the end of season 3 I hope season 4 is right around the corner.

yes!! I've been holding off for so long. I saw two episodes recently and I can tell i'm going to like this show. I hope season 2 and season 3 are released closely so I can buy all 3 seasons and watch them all.

Great news. I was worried about sales for Dex S1 on blu-ray and it possibly affecting the release of season 2 (assumed 3 would by day and date with s3). Give credit to Showtime/Paramount for getting both of these out. My guess is season 3 will come out in august in time for a september season 4. I hope I'm wrong and Season 4 starts in June.

As far as Six feet under - I disagree. I saw 4-5 episodes of the first season and was underwhelmed and basically gave up on it. Nowhere near as entertaining as Dexter IMO. I liked Sopranos, but that's a completely different show.

Sadly you're right and it's only gonna start in the Fall of 2009. 12 episodes is going to feel short!

Funny you mention this because I thought the way Season 3 ended was somewhat FLAT. When I watched both seasons 1 and 2 I couldn't wait to see what happened next at the end of each episode (especially the finales!). But I too can't wait for Season 4. Its amazing how they were able to take a serial killer and make him the hero and have all of the viewers emotionally behind him. GREAT WRITING and ACTING by EVERYONE involved!

Yeah, I have been thinking the same thing (I guess all fans of the show is). Here we're all cheering on the demented serial killer and making him a hero.

But that's part of what makes this show so great.
