I used high performance Monster speaker cable and 300 dollar hdmi cable on a Bose speaker set at 2 grand with a ps3 and it surpasssed the 5k pair of speakers i heard because it was pure highest digital signal ever from a cable!!.

..The sale's man was right!...the cheaper 110 cable was degrading my blu-ray!111..& wasnt THX cerified!!..
so i bought the 300 dollar hdmi cable so it can handle 140hz for the video!! and more gigabites for the video and THX audio.....har har!!!I IM L33T nerd and better then all You then the cheap Low hd hdmi cables!!!
and im ready for the new 2200P format next year

U DUMB ASS,U DUM ASs,U DUMB ass!!!!!!!!
Stay away from monster.

If you take the time to actually read the links I sent you and see what I was talking about, you'll no doubt have a different response.

Nobody hates the cables, in fact they're great cables.
It's the company people hate on, and rightly so; Noel Lee is a total prick.

Try reading your own links..... Why do I want to read something I have already read before ??? Was it top secret information ???

Drama, what was your post ??? A daytime drama.... titled "Evil Monster Corp."

You made the argument how evil Monster is not me, you don't like when someone agrees that Monster is a bunch of jerks ??? Who is debating that ???You're saying not to buy Monster products because of shady ethics, People wouldn't own a damn thing if they only bought products from kind businesses and actually cared about the little guy. Monster being jerks is not a reason to not buy their HDMI cables. That is what your saying isn't it, Monster co. is a bunch of dicks ???

Who doesn't know that ???

Don't go see Dave Mathews Band because they go around dumping sewage all over the place. Is that dramatic enough ??? Why not consider your own comments before belittling people............ you directed the comments at me in the first place.

See where this leads !!!!

You could tell that guy was pulling stuff out of his ass and seemed panicked because he probably didn't want to lose his job or get sued by Monster or anything. I'm pretty sure he knew better otherwise he wouldn't have acted so nervous.

This is one of those instances where more expensive does not mean better. I always have felt this way. Such as in the other threads about audiophiles that spend thousands on sound equipment. More expensive does not always mean that it is better.

Wow you guys bash monster for hype and then buy into sony and panasonic's outright lies here. I think it is kind of funny. Can any one tell me the real difference between the XBR6, Z, and W series. Or the difference between the 80u and the 85u. If you can see a difference you are a better person than I. Also if any one can tell me the difference between a panasonic plasma and a samsung plasma it would be worth a good laugh. They both operate a 60hz according to a battery backup(geek Squad)

The difference in the sony's is the type of processors and engines in them...Some have Bravia engine, some have Bravia Pro engines, Also the light sources differ......regular backlighting on some. Some with Led backlighting (XBR6,7) Some with Triluminous backlighting(XBR8). The difference in Plasmas (to me that is) Panasonic vs. Samsung is that Samsungs plasmas have an extremely higher return rate for defects and failures of the procesors......2007 & 8 were really bad years for Samsung. They cut corners to save money by outsourcing a lot of internal parts for their displays (RPTV's and flat screens) are are paying the price for it now. Something like 400+ active lawsuits still active as of start of 2009.......that's all

oh...also Panasonic is MILES ahead in contrast ratio than Samsung...Panny also has a THX certified display as samsung does not have one.

The electric current and the screen refreshment hz are two completely different things. You can't measure how the screen refreshes with a battery backup. All that tells you is what kind of current is running through it. That comparison doesn't show the 120mhz vs. 60mhz vs. whatever else they want to put on the box.

mdabb, you complain of threads being all about hate yet your posts have been nothing but hate. Kinda hypocritical don't you think?

Anyways, this thread has spiraled way out of control and does not look to get any better. For the sake of keeping the sanity it will be closed. For those who have not seen the video, Enjoy.

Default Very Good Video:Watch

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDw2ZSDzlMw

(look how high tech the Guy is,he has a DVD player and 5.1 Surrond sound and Goggle eyes HA-HA)

I still think there is a Difference, Everything out of the box works Perfect and your eyes adjust to the picture. But after 3 months use the Cheap $12 Cable and lets see and re-run them in the test too.

Also Copper among other things have Gone way up, The main reason Monster cable Charges so much.

The other No Name Brands use more insulation and less copper,Zinc,Silver etc to fool you.

look at how much a 1ft of 0/1 Power wire is now, Used to be $2.25 now its something like $4.50 from Monster Cable, Stinger etc.
