I am looking to buy a Pioneer Elite receiver either between the VSX 03 and 01. The only difference I found was that the 03 had HDMI jitter reduction. Should I buy the 03 just because of this or is it not a big deal????

Not a big deal, and I would assume that there are differences between the three...Look at wattage and DACs

Wattage is the same, the only difference is the jitter reduction and a couple hundred bucks
